Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Mentayar’s services. Using the site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Nature of the Service
Mentayar is an intermediary platform for connecting clients with mental health specialists (psychologists, counselors) via online video or phone calls. Mentayar is not suitable for emergencies or acute psychological crises (such as suicidal thoughts); in such cases, please contact emergency services or psychiatric emergency centers immediately.
2. Registration and Authentication
Registration and login are done through one of the following methods: mobile number and a one-time SMS code, email and password, or a Google, Facebook, Apple, or Telegram account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you register and for maintaining the security of your mobile number, email, password, or connected accounts.
3. Booking, Cancellation, and Session Refunds
Once booked and paid for, your session is confirmed. Full details on cancellation, rescheduling, and refunds are explained on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.
4. Payment
Session fees are calculated in euros and collected through trusted payment gateways (including Stripe, PayPal, and YekPay). Mentayar does not store your full bank card information.
5. Specialists’ Responsibility
Specialists on Mentayar are reviewed for professional qualifications and credentials before their profile is activated. Responsibility for the clinical content of each session rests with the specialist conducting it.
6. Discount Codes and Referral Program
Discount codes may only be used according to the conditions stated for that specific code (such as minimum purchase amount, usage limits, or being restricted to a specific specialist), and are non-transferable and non-refundable as cash. Referral rewards are activated only after the referred person’s first paid session is successfully held.
7. Conduct Rules
Any abusive, harassing, or offensive behavior toward specialists or other users may result in your account being suspended.
8. Intellectual Property
All content published on the Mentayar website (design, text, logo) belongs to Mentayar, and commercial use of it without written permission is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
Mentayar only serves as a technical intermediary between clients and specialists; responsibility for the therapeutic outcome of sessions rests with the specialist conducting them.
10. Account Termination
You may request deletion of your account at any time from the “Profile” section of your account panel. Mentayar may also suspend account access if these terms are violated.
