This document explains how we collect, use, and retain your information at Mentayar. By using Mentayar, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Basic identity information: name, mobile number and/or email, and depending on your sign-up method: a password (hashed, if you registered by email) or your Google/Facebook/Apple/Telegram account ID (if you signed in that way)
- Booking and session records: chosen specialist, session time, session type (video or phone call)
- Clinical information: your responses to treatment-progress assessment questionnaires (if enabled for your specialist), messages exchanged with your specialist in the messaging section, and notes and treatment goals recorded in your account panel
- Payment information: your payment transactions are processed directly by the payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal, or YekPay); Mentayar does not access or store your full card number or bank account details
- Technical information: IP address and device information, used solely for account security and troubleshooting
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for: providing and coordinating counseling services, authentication and secure account login, booking notifications/session reminders via SMS and email, payment processing, improving service quality, and responding to support requests.
3. Confidentiality of Clinical Information
The results of your treatment-progress assessments and the content of your counseling sessions are confidential and visible only to you and your specialist; this information is never visible to other specialists or users. Mentayar’s management team may, in limited cases and solely to ensure service quality (such as reviewing complaints or clinical audits), access this information; this access is never for the purpose of clinical diagnosis or intervention.
4. Sharing Information with Third Parties
Mentayar does not sell your information. Information is shared only as necessary with:
- Payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, YekPay) to process transactions
- SMS services to send login codes and session reminders
- The specialist for each booking, strictly within the scope of that booking
5. Information Security
You can log in to your account using one of the following methods: mobile number and a one-time SMS code, email and password, or a Google, Facebook, Apple, or Telegram account. If you signed up with email and password, your password is stored hashed, and neither Mentayar nor anyone else — even with database access — can access your original password. Communication with the site is encrypted.
6. Your Rights
From the “Profile” section of your account panel, you can:
- Download a complete copy of your stored information (bookings, assessments, messages, reviews)
- Log out of other devices signed in to your account
- Submit a request for complete deletion of your account
7. Cookies
Mentayar uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. No third-party advertising tracking cookies are used.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this same page.
